If you’ve just bought a brand-new Acura, then you might be curious if Acura models have Apple CarPlay®. Not only do Acuras have Apple CarPlay®, but the process to set up Apple CarPlay® is pretty simple. Learn how to set up Acura Apple CarPlay® with Capitol Acura, so you can stay connected to your favorite tunes and podcasts on the San Jose roads.
Acuras do have Apple CarPlay®, but the feature may not be available on certain models. Before we go over how to set up the Acura Apple CarPlay® feature, let’s take a look at which Acura models have the Apple CarPlay® feature:

Setting Up Acura Apple CarPlay® Step by Step
Now that you know which Acura models have Apple CarPlay®, let’s go over how to set up the system, so you can easily connect your Apple device on the Santa Clara roads without having to mess with any wires or buttons. Here’s how to set up Apple CarPlay® in your Acura:
On your Apple phone, activate CarPlay® and Siri.
Connect your Apple phone to your Acura USB port, which is usually located behind a cover in the center console. You’ll want to be sure that you have an Apple-approved Lightning-to-USB cable.
Your Acura multimedia display screen should then prompt you about Apple CarPlay®. When you’re prompted, select “Always Enable”.
Your Apple phone should now be connected to your Acura vehicle through Apple CarPlay®. Your Acura vehicle’s multimedia display screen should now switch over to Apple CarPlay® when your Apple phone is connected through your USB port.
